ISTON WON THE INTERNATIONAL SAFETY AWARD
At the International Occupational Safety Awards organized every year by the British Safety Council (BSC), one of the most prestigious institutions in the world, ISTON was deemed worthy of an award in the "Distinction" category, which is the highest level, for its work to ensure and improve occupational health and safety. A total of 1251 companies and 421 companies from Turkey applied to the International Occupational Safety Awards, which attracted the attention of many companies on a global scale. İSTON, which was among the 28 winning companies from Turkey, was placed in the top category with 50 points as a result of the evaluations.
In the competition where 4 subsidiary companies of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality received awards, İSTAÇ, İSTGÜVEN and BELBİM were among the companies that received awards, along with İSTON, within the scope of the BSC 66th ISA Award Program.
Many companies from Europe, Asia and Africa applied to the organization, where BSC rewards commitment to excellent health, safety and welfare management standards in companies' facilities or business units. The organizations that won awards in the competition will be presented with their awards at a ceremony to be held in June.
